Energy Field Check: What Practitioners Actually See in a Scan

A practitioner's walkthrough of what Bio-Well reveals — organ by organ, chakra by chakra — with real scan parameters explained.

13 min read Interactive Peer-Reviewed Sources

You place your finger on the glass. A brief tingle. Three minutes later, your practitioner turns the screen toward you and says: "Here's your energy field."

But what are you actually looking at? What does the data mean? And can you trust it? This guide is a practitioner's walkthrough of a Bio-Well scan — every screen, every metric, every insight explained. We've also built interactive tools below so you can explore the concepts before (or after) your first session.

1

What a Practitioner Sees on Screen

A complete Bio-Well scan produces five primary views, each revealing a different dimension of your energy state. Here's what each screen shows:

🔵

Biofield View

Your complete energy field as a circular diagram. Gaps indicate areas of reduced energy flow.

🫀

Organ Energy

Each major organ system rated on an energy scale. Color-coded for quick assessment.

Chakra Alignment

Seven energy centers visualized. Position and size indicate alignment and activity level.

📊

Stress Index

A single number reflecting your overall psycho-physiological stress level. Correlated with HRV.

🔋

Energy Reserve

Your body's total energy capacity — think of it as how much "battery" you have left.

2

Interactive: Explore the Organ Map

Bio-Well maps each fingertip glow to specific organ systems via meridian connections. Tap any organ zone below to see which finger it maps to, what the scan reveals, and which published study has validated it.

The Stress Index: Your Autonomic Snapshot

One of the most immediately useful outputs is the Stress Index — a single score derived from the overall entropy and area of your fingertip emissions. A published study confirmed that this GDV-derived stress measure correlates with heart rate variability (HRV) — the gold-standard autonomic nervous system biomarker.

Interactive: Stress Index Gauge

Drag the slider to see how different stress levels appear in a Bio-Well scan

Low Moderate High 2.5 stress index
0 — Deeply relaxed 10 — Extreme stress

Low stress (0–3): Relaxed autonomic state. Parasympathetic dominance. This is the zone practitioners aim for. Energy field appears full and symmetrical.

Before and After: What Changes Look Like

The most powerful feature for practitioners is the ability to compare scans — before and after a treatment session. Published studies have documented measurable changes following osteopathic manipulation, massage therapy, yoga, and meditation.

Clinical Validation: Does It Match Lab Results?

The critical question for any diagnostic tool: do its readings correspond to established biomarkers? Multiple studies have tested this by comparing Bio-Well scan data against conventional lab results.

What to Expect at Your First Scan

1

Preparation (2 minutes)

Wash and dry your hands. Remove rings and jewelry. Sit comfortably. The practitioner calibrates the device.

2

The Scan (2–3 minutes)

Place each finger on the glass electrode, one at a time. You may feel a slight, painless tingle. The device captures the corona discharge from all 10 fingertips.

3

The Review (5–10 minutes)

Your practitioner walks you through the five views: biofield image, organ energy, chakra alignment, stress index, and energy reserve. They explain what each finding suggests and discuss any areas of concern.

4

Recommendations (varies)

Based on results, your practitioner may suggest lifestyle adjustments, specific therapies, or a follow-up scan to track changes over time.
